Heights Green School

“We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.” Heights Green School uses only the freshest, safest and most sustainable food, materials, and eco-friendly cleaning products available to provide the cleanest and healthiest environment for our most prestigious clients, our children. We use recycled products, cloth diapers and locally manufactured and sustainable products. Our interest is building character through harmony with nature and the community. 

We teach environmental responsibility through recycling, composting, conservation and overall community consideration. Children will have the opportunity to work in our on-site gardens and care for their own plot.

According to a 2010 report by the federal Centers for Disease Control, only 1 in 5 children lives within a 1/2 mile of a park, limiting access and exposure the environment we live in. Simply being outside improves overall mental and physical health, helping children focus more in the classroom.
